Dr. Joe Djemal, MB BS DCH MRCGP
Chief Executive Officer
Joe was appointed CEO of Terem in 2003 and has since led the Terem team in both medical and administrative issues. Joe also continues to work as a family practitioner for local HMOs enabling him to combine both urgent care and family practice experience.
Prior to Terem, Joe worked for various HMOs, Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital and Shaare Tzedek Medical Center. Joe is Board certified in family medicine in both the UK and Israel and graduated from Saint Mary's Medical School in London, UK.
Dr. Nachum Kovalski, BSc MDCM
Assistant Medical Director, CIO
Nachum joined Terem in 1993 and serves as the Assistant Medical Director leading Terem's medical forum and responsible for quality assurance. Nachum is a member of the editorial board of the Journal Of Urgent Care Association Of America. Nachum also serves as Terem's CIO and is the architect behind Terem's Urgent Care Medical System known as PARPAR. Prior to Terem, Nachum worked at the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital and at the McGill University, Montreal, Canada where he was awarded his MD.
Natan Applebaum
COO
Natan manages business and service operations across the Terem clinics and is responsible for developing new and existing businesses. Prior to Terem, Natan was an healthcare consultant for McKinsey & Co working with leading international healthcare organizations across the US and Europe. Natan holds a B.Sc. in Finance from City University, London and an MBA from Columbia University, New York.
Daniel Schvartzman
CFO
Daniel joined Terem in 1996 and serves as the Chief Financial Officer responsible for financial management and reporting across the Terem group. Prior to Terem he worked as a research associate in a management consulting firm in San Francisco and has worked in a number of education and medical organisations in Israel. Daniel holds a BA with distinction and MA from Stanford University in International Policy Studies.
