This amazing technology provides the doctor in Terem or in the community, to keep track of the patient's wound.
the doctor can check if the wound has improved, or worsened,
and that way, to provide higher medical treatment.
the picture is added to the patient's medical chart, and the doctor can view it from any computer/smartphone.
It’s no secret that Israelis are crazy about their steaks – whether it’s Yom HaAtzmaut (Independence Day), Lag B’Omer – just give them a reason to celebrate, and they’re grilling, spicing, and chomping away to their hearts’ delight.
A sworn steak lover in Beit Shemesh was doing just that, when he managed to swallow a morsel of steak without chewing it properly first, and choked on it.
The man was taken to Terem Beit Shemesh, where thanks to quick and professional treatment by Dr. Zev Wimpheimer, the piece of meat was duly extracted.
The moral of the story is: Have your steak, and eat it, too – but chew it first!
On March 22nd, a group of senior British health care and business professionals visited Terem as part of a delegation organised by the British Embassy. They were particularly interested i on the use of telemedicine to streamline processes and improve patient care.

תושב העיר הגיע למרפאת טרם במעלה אדומים לבדיקות לב, והתגלה כי הוא סובל משבץ מוחי. הבדיקה המהירה הצילה את חייו
חולה בן 78, תושב מעלה אדומים, הופנה למיון טרם על ידי רופאת המשפחה לשם ביתוע אקג+ טרופונין (- בדיקה למצב הלב) בשל סחרחורות, חיוורון, הזעה ובלבול.
האבחון המהיר והמדויק במיון של טרם הציל למעשה את חייו של האיש. במהלך קבלתו על ידי האח במרפאה, שי שפירא, התעורר החשד כי מדובר בארוע של שבץ מוחי ולא בארוע לב. בבדיקה יסודית יותר של ד"ר לישינסקי והאחות איטח אעליזה, הובהר שישנו ארוע מוחי, המחייב טיפול מיידי ודחוף.
לאחר הבדיקות המדויקות בטרם, והטיפול הראשוני, הופנה המטופל למיון, ואכן האבחנה בטרם אושרה כמדוייקת גם בבית החולים.
בטרם אומרים כי "יש להבהיר ולהדגיש לעצמנו, אירוע מוחי חייב להיות מטופל מיידית. האבחון המיידי עם התרופות שניתנו בטרם, הצילו חייו של חולה נוסף במעלה אדומים".
במקרים של שבץ מוחי, טיפול מיידי הוא אקוטי וחיוני להצלת חיי החולה. מחקרים מוכיחיםשהבדל של דקות במקרה של שבץ בשעות הראשונות, הוא זה שיקבע אם החולה יוכל להמשיך ולתפקד כרגיל או חלילה יהיה מוגבל או אף יאבד את חייו.
Is there a doctor on board?
Did you ever see one of those movies where mid-flight there is a medical emergency and the captain calls, “Is there a doctor on board?”
Well, it so happens that these things don’t just happen in the movies. They can happen in real life, too.
Just ask Dr. David Burns, from Terem Beit Shemesh. On a long flight from Israel to the UK, while the plane hovered over Athens, Greece, the cabin crew called through the PA system for a doctor’s assistance.
Dr. Burns left his family seated while he went up front and introduced himself. In minutes, he was bent over a patient who was severely ill. Dr. Burns diagnosed appendicitis with signs of peritonism (fever, pale, unwell). He told the captain that this was a medical emergency and the plane needed to land as soon as possible so that the passenger could receive emergency medical treatment.
The plane landed in Athens, and the patient was duly evacuated to a medical facility. But that wasn’t the only delay. The entire flight had to remain grounded overnight due to a mechanical problem. The passengers took the situation in stride, even making a prayer quorum using a Torah scroll that had been on board. Finally, the flight resumed uneventfully to its destination.
However, life, along with the movies, is full of ironies. The very following week, Dr. Burns himself came down with an attack of appendicitis – the same condition he treated on the plane.
Terem is happy to report that Dr. Burns is fully recovered, and ready to fly again.

רשת המיון של "טרם" הפועלת למעלה מ- 20 שנה , החלה לתת שירותים רפואיים במרכז הארץ. המיזם החדש הוא פרי שיתוף פעולה בין רשת טרם ובין המרכז הרפואי תל-אביב (ביה"ח איכילוב)וכולל מרכז מיון גדול ומשוכלל בציר ז'בוטינסקי, בסמוך לצומת גהה. המרכז לרפואה דחופה פועל בשיתוף פעולה עם ה"מרכז הרפואי תל אביב- איכילוב", ועם פרופ' פנחס הלפרין, מנהל המיון ב"איכילוב".
