About Terem

Terem is a national network of emergency rooms which treats more than 600,000 patients annually

Who are we?

Terem is a nationwide network of emergency care centers.

With more than 800,000 patients yearly, a wide deployment in major cities, and round the clock availability, Terem serves as a unique model for treatment of emergency medical cases. Terem has led a veritable revolution in emergency medicine in Israel.

Terem clinics have lowered the number of emergency room visits in hospitals by almost 40%, and as such has significantly lightened the patient load in hospitals. Terem's clinics  provide quick  and timely emergency care to Israel's residents.

The ability to provide quick response and minimal waiting times (often lower than most other medical facilities) is largely the result of a winning combination of professional expertise accumulated over the years, and the impressive experience of the medical team.

The entire medical process is conducted under one roof, from diagnosis to lab work when needed, to the treatment itself.

We serve the public from a sense of mission, expressed by the biblical injunctions, "do not stand idly by the blood of your brother," "love thy neighbor as thyself," and "he shall cause him to heal thoroughly."  Terem respects the traditions of all peoples, including those religious patients for whom provision of proper medical care while preserving the sanctity of the Sabbath is of paramount concern.

The Terem staff itself is made up of a varied mix of cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds, whose exceptional teamwork serves as a shining example of devotion to the principles of mutual respect and consideration.
Terem has arrangements with all the kupot holim which allow exam and treatment at a reasonable price, ranging from a few shekels to 300 NIS at the most. Terem maintains close ties with community physicians who are members of the Terem Colleague ROAM program. Every member physician enjoys direct and immediate access to all medical information, test results, and more, for any of his patients who have come to Terem. The program operates under the strictest guidelines for  ensuring maximum patient confidentiality. This is one way we can join hands with our colleagues in kupot holim to give our mutual patients the most comprehensive care possible.
