Many patients require continued support after cast treatment or following a wrist injury. At Terem, we offer the option to purchase a wrist support splint during your visit, as part of the complete medical service ensuring a safer, more comfortable, and more effective recovery.
The splint is made of durable Velcro straps combined with rigid wrist support. It provides stable protection to the injured area and is recommended for use in cases such as fractures after cast removal, trauma without visible fracture on X-ray, and following reconstructive or internal fixation surgery.
Key Benefits:
- Rigid wrist immobilization- allows proper and effective healing.
- Maintains full mobility of fingers and elbow- prevents stiffness.
- Easily removable- allows bathing, handwashing, and hygiene.
- Ultra-lightweight- simple and comfortable for daily use.
- Available in two sizes: small and large- for personalized fitting.
The splint is especially suitable for use after cast removal, for about two additional weeks, or in cases where further wrist stabilization is required.
Wrist Support Splint with Thumb Support
Alongside the standard splint, we also offer a wrist splint with added thumb support – providing additional stabilization for more complex medical conditions.
Especially suitable for:
- Trauma at the base of the first metacarpal bone.

- Patients after surgical fixation of a scaphoid fracture.
- Trauma to the first phalanx without a clear fracture on X-ray.
- Treatment of De Quervain’s syndrome – inflammation of the first dorsal compartment tendons, common especially in pregnancy and postpartum.
Key Benefits (same as the standard splint):
- Reliable rigid immobilization ensuring stable and safe healing.
- Easily removable, allows bathing and hygiene.
- Prevents unnecessary restriction of finger and elbow movement.
- Lightweight for convenient daily use.
