“A miracle saved him”: 1.5-year-old swallowed a balloon – and nearly choked to death.

The toddler found the balloon, put it in his mouth, and then the frightening incident happened. The mother said: “He pointed to his throat without making a sound, then sat down and looked like he was losing consciousness.” By the time they arrived at the Terem urgent care center, he had already turned blue and lost consciousness — and the mother fainted as well. The doctor: “This is a well-known and dangerous phenomenon. Infants and toddlers must never be left unsupervised.”
